Katy Perry tried to roar into space with every woman’s flight

Pop star Katy Perry said she hopes a trip to space will inspire her daughter.
Pop star Katy Perry touched the edge of space on Monday and was the biggest name of all women’s groups who roamed into space with one of billionaire Jeff Bezos’ rockets.
The “Fireworks” and “California Girls” singers are ships from Blue Origin, a space company owned by the founder of Amazon, lofts above the surface of the Earth (60 miles).
Five other women, including Bezos’ fiancee Lauren Sanchez, will be taking part in a flight scheduled to explode from western Texas at 8:30am (1330 GMT).
Before the crew capsules peeled off during flight, the fully automated ship rose vertically, and later slowed down by parachutes and retro rockets.
Monday’s mission is the first all-female space crew since the historic solo flight of Valentina Tereshkova in 1963.
He is also the 11th lower orbit crew by Blue Origin, providing space tourism experiences for several years.
The company has not publicly communicated the prices of the trips made possible by the new Shepherd Rocket.
After approximately 10 minutes, the flight brings passengers across the Kalman Line, the internationally recognized universe boundary.
There is a short period of time when a woman can unleash the buckle from her seat and float with zero gravity.
‘Inspiration’
Perry recently told Elle Magazine he was on “for his daughter Daisy.” He shared with actor Orlando Bloom, “Never limit your dreams.”
“When she sees that rocket go, she is so excited to see inspiration through her eyes and through the light of her eyes. She goes back to school the next day and says, ‘Mummy went to space,'” Perry added.
Perry will stand on the international stage with his 2008 hit “I Kissed a Girl,” and will sit with television presenter Gayle King, film producer Kerianne Flynn, former NASA scientists Aisha Bowe and Amanda Nguyen, and the founders of the campaign group against sexual violence.
They follow 52 passengers of previous blue origins, including William Shatner, a longtime “Star Trek” lead man.
Such well-known guests are aiming to maintain the public interest in Blue Origin’s work as they are fighting multiple rivals in the space tourism sector.
Bezos’ top challenger for passenger flights is Virgin Galactic, offering a similar intraorbital experience.
However, Blue Origin aims to bring space tourists into orbit and compete directly with Elon Musk’s SpaceX.
In January, Blue Origin’s much more powerful new Glenn Rocket made its first unmanned orbital mission a success.
