Bitcoin Investors Buy the entire SpaceX Flight for the Ultimate Polar Adventure

A Bitcoin investor and three Polar Explorers who purchased SpaceX flights for himself blew up on their first rocket ride on Monday night, transporting people to the Northern Poles and Antarctica.

Chinese-born entrepreneur Chung Wang got into orbit from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. SpaceX’s Falcon Rocket piloted the Atlantic towards the south, placing space tourists on roads that have never been in a 64-year human spaceflight.

The king doesn’t say how much he paid Elon Musk’s SpaceX for the ultimate three and a half hour polar adventure.

The first foot of their flight from Florida to Antarctica was only 30 minutes. From a target altitude of approximately 270 miles (440 km) the fully automated capsule circles the earth in about an hour and a half, including 46 minutes to fly from pole to pole.

“Enjoy the view of Paul. Send me a photo,” he said, and when the capsule reached orbit, he turned on the radio.

The king has already visited the polar regions in person and wants to see them from space. The trip also said before the flight about “pushing boundaries and sharing knowledge.”

Now a Maltese citizen, he took three guests along with Norwegian filmmaker Jannicke Mikkelsen, German robotics researcher Rabea Rogge, and Australia’s polar guide Eric Phillips.

The first Norwegian universe-bound Mikkelsen, who used to fly around the poles, is at much lower altitudes. She was part of a record-breaking mission in 2019, circling the world through the Poles of Gulfstream Jets, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin’s lunar landing.

The crew planned 20 dozen experiments, including taking the first human X-rays in space, and brought in more cameras than usual to record a journey called FRAM2 after a Norwegian polar research vessel over a century ago.

Until now, she was shy about the Arctic and Antarctic circles, and space travelers had not ventured beyond 65 degrees north and south latitudes. Valentina Teleshkova of the Soviet Union, the first woman in the universe, set that mark in 1963. The first man in space, Yurigagarin, and other pioneering astronauts, came as close as NASA shuttle astronauts in 1990.

Polar orbits are ideal for not only spy satellites, but also for climate and earth mapping satellites. This is because spacecraft observes the whole world every day, and rotates downwards to turn the Earth from pole to pole.

Geir Klover, director of the Fulham Museum in Oslo, Norway, hopes that the trip will attract more attention to climate change and the melting pole cap as the original polar ship is on display. He loaned the crew a small portion of the wooden deck of the ship with Oscar Whisting signatures along with Oscar Amundsen, who reached both poles with Roald Amundsen in the early 1900s.

Wang proposed the idea of ​​a polar flight to SpaceX in 2023, two years after US tech entrepreneur Jared Isaacman made the first of two chartered flights with Musk’s Company. Isaacman is currently working as a top job at NASA.

SpaceX’s Kiko Dontchev said last week that the company is continuously refined its training so that “normal people” can “hop on the capsule and settle down” without a traditional aerospace background.

The king and his crew accept the challenge as they watch polar flights like camping in the wild.

“SpaceFlight is becoming more and more routine, and to be honest, I’m happy to see it,” Wang said last week via X.

Wang said he has been counting flights attempting to visit all countries since the first one in 2002, flying planes, helicopters and hot air balloons. So far, he has visited more than half of it. He arranged it so that the liftoff marks his 1,000th flight.
